The RNLI West Yorkshire Business Branch (formerly the Leeds Business Branch) is a committee of local professionals who volunteer to promote and raise money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
The funds we raise help to equip and train volunteer lifeboat crews, beach lifeguards, flood rescue teams and enable many other life-saving initiatives.
By drawing on the enthusiasm and good will of our colleagues, companies, sponsors and networks we organise a programme of fund-raising activities throughout the year. Since our launch in 1999 we have generated over £400,000 for the Institution.
In 2014 our branch raised £15,000 towards the purchase of a launch vehicle (pictured, in operation) for the new Scarborough 'Shannon' class lifeboat.
